How long does it take USPS, small package one lure. I say 2 days tops. Is waiting 7 days a bit too much to be waiting for one plug to come?

generally should be 1-2 days or so,
with USPS, not uncommon to wait for several days.

Hawaii to Jersey takes about 3 days, but sometimes as much as 10 days. PO handles alot of mail, and sometimes things are routed to the wrong place and have to be re-routed.

And then there were those cell phone batteries that DHL moved from CA to Rutherford, NJ in 2 days and then turned over to USPS to deliver to Lavallette, NJ. Upon which USPS immediately sent them to Osprey FL for god knows what reason. Took 13 days to get them delivered from that point.

Yes, 7 days is to long.

parcel post is the lowest priority for the mail handlers ... they're told to handle those after everything else is done

Well, let me tell you: I'm in Brooklyn and package was sent to me from Queenc (those are two boroughs of one NY City). How long do you think I waited for the package? How about 20 days?!!
USPS is one heck of organization , so 7 days from NJ it's not that bad, yes, idieally you would get you pack in 2-3 days, but just try to sit tight for one more week and see what happens.

Are you sure it was sent?
I purchased a plug a month ago. I sent the $$ a few days later I got a PM that the $$ was received and the plug sent USPS. A few days later I asked if the plug had been sent. Any day now was the answer. Nothing for a few more days. I sent a PM asking where it was. Any day now was the answer. It came 2 days later. It was post marked 2 days ago!

Went to see the whatfixer.

Yeh, a few years ago, I sent my neighbor a b-day card and it took 3 weeks to go 1 block away. At the same time, I mailed a card to my mom in Arizona, got there in 3 days

If you have tracking call those jokers. I called on a laptop I shipped to the carolinas and the buyer never received after two weeks. It was on a shelf in the post office in the buyers town for god knows what...
