Homemade rod rack storage?

Something I really like is this rod and drawer system but this rod and tube rack would be cool too. Anyone have something utilizing PVC?

I used a 4 way instead of a T in case I wanted to drop down another level and create another shelf. I could not find a 4 way in PVC so I had to use a galvanized. I think the 4way also opens you up to other imaginative applications.
Just under $5 in parts if you throw out the gal-4way.

Take a 1x2 (or 2x4 or whatever) attach it to the ceiling. Screw these to the wood every 6" or so. Slide the butts into these. For the tips cut one foot off and make a hook. I have them all over the place, at the house, at the shore, at the cabin. Most are 6 or 8' long (that's 11+ rods per rack) I've even made them and given them as Christmas presents. You can mount them horizontal too and for all of a couple of bucks!

I'm really easy to get along with once you people learn to see it my way.
