What's the fishing report? I heard that the big fish have arrived? Anybody doing anything? What's happening down there?

I assume you mean the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. I check reports almost daily. Haven't heard many flyfishing reports, but the eelers and trollers are getting some big ones. In short, the fish are in and available.
I hope to head down in the next week or two and will post a report.

There are no fish there for the fly guys. Nothing, Nada. Look elsewhere. They are everywhere but the CBBT. Yep nothing but eel guys catching anything. Move along and let the thread die.

My buddies went out this past weekend, and caught the usual smaller fish (<10lbs), but no big ones. I didn't get all of the specifics, but would have if they had gotten some nicer ones

Are there a lot of fish breaking the surface? Are any of the big ones being caught on the surface? Are the larger ones only being caught deep? Is anyone getting them in the lights, and along the "shadow" lines in the dark?

Plenty of smaller fish and some big ones too. Big ones in the ocean now, too. Some bird action but a lot of the beehives have smaller fish under them. In addition to tidalfish as mentioned, check outer banks fly fishing in the Chesapeake Bridge forum section.

Lot of fish to be had.....biggest on the fly was 33 inches. Was using 6 inch flys....Chartuse or olive over white did well.
