Met a guy with one for sale - says it's lightly used and from what I can see that is so. Price is OK but Grizzly discontinued it some years ago. Anyone have any experience with one???

Maybe, or maybe not.
Met 4 people who know this lathe - 2 love it, 1 hates it and 1 is "good buy for the money". Price is about half a duplicator attachment.
Really would like to hear from anyone who has used one. An ancient issue of Fine Woodworking rates it as a "serious" machine - gear and chain drive, good tool holder, etc.
Nobody can tell me why Grizzly gave it up - without duplicator, it is still an 11X39, 1/2 HP, 3 speed, cast iron bed lathe with stand.
May be the worst lathe in the world - just don't know!
