whats the difference in the ABU 5500 C3 cs\ct, and the Abu 5500c series? Im not referring to the ones with the dome left sideplate..

The c reels have two spool bearings. The c3 has the two spool, plus a shaft bearing.

shaft bearing = instant anti reverse.
most plates are interchangeable.

I have a 5500C that came with a bushing on one side and a bearing on the other a bearing. It was one of Abu's reel that came that way.

I have a 5500C that came with a bushing on one side and a bearing on the other a bearing. It was one of Abu's reel that came that way.

Yes , I've had some like that, and they are 5500's. No "c" classification.
I take out the bushing, and replace it with a bearing.

Mine is the 5500C pro shop reel. I did remove the bushing and replaced it with a bearing

True, I have had some 6000's, with one and one.
