I once saw a sailboat with the name "Breaking Wind" I thought that was pretty good.

Story goes that a buddy was buying a boat and his girlfriend asked what he was going to name the boat. He responded:

"After You"

They aren't together anymore.

A buddy up on the Cape showed me pics of some bass he caught....in the background was a boat named "FAH Q". Don't know the validity of it...maybe you guys have seen it up there.

I think I've posted this before but, for work I do custom fihish carpentry and cabinet installation. Name on the boat, Fin-ish Work ? The question mark is a fish hook.

My brother bought a 1957 Beals Island 34'. It was a working boat in its previous life. After three years of reconstruction, repowering, and getting most of the hog out of the starboard (pothauler) side, she is a beautiful family boat. After adding up what the refit cost him, he named it 'Firewood', figuring that is what he should have done with it in the beginning.....

A buddy of mine was an undertaker. Bought a 39' semi custom racing sailboat. Named it Overtaker. Underneath the home port it had, "Our wake is your funeral."

I am a music teacher and just bought a new boat in the fall. Looking forward to having the name "Sea Flat" put on it later this spring.

For those non-musician people. Dual meaning - obvious flat seas which we all love. Plus, Cb (C flat) the musical note. Yes, I am a band geek.
