I don't know about layaway, but cabela's has a 6 month payment plan on 150.00 and over purchase's. Fully addictive!

Cabela's sent me a letter that they have stopped offering the 6 month payment plan in 2007. Bass Pro does offer it. I just used it 2 days ago (end of 2008).

I don't thnk they have a layaway plan, but what you can do is ship it to my house, and when you're paid up, I'll send it back to ya (slightly used though)!

I think you're confusing a layaway plan and a rain check...

Cabelas recently was offering 12 mos no interest on purchases (over a certain dollar threshold, I forget what) with their credit card. I ordered a VS reel. Pay 'em next year and get the 2008 price.
