Isn't this about the time of year we hear about fish this size being caught in New Jersey? Do you think the breeders are done spawning and are making thier way past us now?

One was caught in the Del bay this weekend, 58 I believe.

u estimate the big bass to be gone in a week? I thought they stay around through June?

Depends on what you consider BIG. Yes you can get a #50 but chances are slimmer after they have spawned out. Some of the fish that were #50 a few weeks ago are only #40's now that they have spawned, but they are hungry!!! I'll say a week or two, but I'm no expert, it's just my personal experience in MY neck of the woods. The guys and gals in the northern states IMHO have a better chance of a #50 now because the fish are feeding on there way up the coast.

im saying the fish in the 20# to 40# range, they should be in and out through June hittin wood?

I'm going for a 50# tonight, I have high hopes, dreams, and all that other stuff. In reality, I'll be lucky to catch a schoolie!
