Someone has to catch the fish over here. The weather is nice and my sorry @$$ is stuck at work and not fishin'mad.gif !!! I fished Sunday for a few hits but no takers, it seems just as i HAD to leave the bite was starting to develop. So who's catchin fish? I'm not looking for your spot, just add onto this thread if you have been sucessful on Staten Island.

Haven't been out yet..the water still around 47 degrees but with this warm patch the next few days should start to turn things on a bit. You wanna look for a dark bottom and head out late morning to give the water a chance to warm up a bit.

There's so much garbage and debris in the water teh fish cannot get close enough to SI for you to catch them. Plus the water is so dirty they cannot see anything. There are TONS od Bass right now by Sandy hook. I strongly suggest everyone from NJ go there, save teh $6.50 toll over teh bridges, save on gas, and have a much better shot at catching a fish. plus you dont' have to worry about getting your tires flattened by some MAfia fishermen from SI.
