Default Hey Cobia Slayer---

Was just looking for parts for an old Daiwa ss5000 I have and came across your post from a year ago about a store by you selling NIB Daiwa gold reels (parts appear to be interchangeable with mine). Do you remember where it was? Heading to Frisco this Sunday for the week and would love to get the part.

Any reports from down your way? Thought this cool snap might get the mullet moving out....Sunday can't come fast enough. Thanks a bunch

They do sell the gold series daiwa's and have a daiwa/shimano warrenty center. And I happen to have a card in my wallet. T.I.'s bait & tackle. 100 W. Clark St. Mp9 KDH

As far as fishing, the drum have started all along the beaches, mostly yearlings, a few bigger ones mixed in. I've heard about a few 40"+ fish being landed off avalon. I'm not big on bottom fishin, so I can't really answer that one for ya, but I know the sea mullet, spot and crokers have been caught up and down the beaches as well, best bet is to check with HJ or red drum, they'll be able to answer that better for you.

Thanks a lot - I'll check with T.I.s on the way in. Glad to hear the drummies are starting to turn on - maybe I won't be forced to impress our crowd with my seemingly inherent prowess for picking the best skate holes on the beach.....Thanks again and leave some for us dingbatters
