likely a repeat thread. however i am curious what people are using for a set when fishing the surf and what species can caught in mid september. i've got some good info on fishing the sound and what kind of fish are around, but nothing on fishing the surf.
i have a light tackle set up for the sound, but wondering if a 10 foot rod rated 2-4 oz and 50-60 lb line is sufficient to land fish on the surf. is this more of a shimano baitrunner in a sand spike style or a van staal and plugs type fishing. |
