Default Stripers Core Banks

Are there many stripers caught on Core Banks? I have fished there before but is has been early fall.

A stray here or there. The past few years the stripers have not made much of a showing on the OBX. Mild winters and bait hanging around in VA waters has kept the bulk of the fish north of NC.

Does this have to do with the bunker boats? Only one can wonder.
