Question Another "North of Corolla" question...

Haven't been that way in 20 years, since the racing gigs. GF wants to go see wild horses there during a visit Oops! Anyway, she says, she was told it's "rough" going? How about a heads-up on conditions/driving past pavement ending, and will she/we "really" see the horses? And for good info, how about fishing areas??? Worth packing up for?

Thanks!

Thumbs up

She'll love hearing that, and the trails sound cool! Thanks for the quick response. Now for fishing answers, since it's a healthy drive from Waves

Default Corolla

Wiz, 12 year old kid is missing in the surf there today, presumed drowned. I'm sure the rip currents are stronger due to TS "Danny" today but if you venture out in the surf be careful............Bob

Always sad to hear

Thanks for the heads up

Been surfing, and fishing there for almost 40 years, quit used to it. And you couldn't get her close enough to get more than her knees wet, trying to grab shells (If anyone knows good shell collecting spots, please PM me ), I "won't" post them, fishing spots as well

My buddy, that used to go with me, would always be going to sleep in a life raft we would take, and letting the lifeguards on Jet Ski's pull him back in from a couple miles out! Told him, one day he was going to have to swim it back, because he didn't sleep in it, on top... but with it flipped upside down, under/between the two seats It was really comfortable, but I never has the nads to stay under there very long, thinking about boats up top, and Sharks from below
