Swell Rider Wrightsville Beach,NC Report..07/19,21,22

Sorry for the late report but we've been going at it pretty good these last few days and will continue too as long as the weather allows...As always had the regulars Kennedy and Steve the Pirate out as well as Chuck aka "Frank the Cat" and Howard and Sam Blumstien and there friend Chad..The joy of fishing around the moon always makes for an interesting trip, this time we had NO WIND OR CURRENT!!! I guess it could be worse but patience and persistence were the words of the day..Each day started started out the same, beat on the Sea Bass , Pinkies and Triggers until we get alittle water moving and then it was full on with the Grouper...The conditions we had were great for being on the ocean but made fishing alittle tough..When most would have bagged it we stuck it out each and everyday until the grouper bit!!!! and bite they did Gags, Reds and Scamps, when they turned on, it was on..We worked our but off to fill the box these last few days but it was all worth it in the end..We fished from 16 to 18.5 fathoms out of WB using both spanish sardeens, cigar minnows and Mackeral, didn't see any Mahi but we didn't mess with the light line much..Mantience day tomorrow and then were back at it unless it's blowing 25.

Instead of being a total Jerk#ff and writting what you did, you could have just deleted the post and PM me..I didn't realize that the shirt picture was in there but if thats advertising I apologize..Take the post down if you have such an issue with it and why would I advertise if guys like you are going to publicly make BS comments..

Nice report Ken, Good to see you catchin em up.

Hey next time try not to advertise for Suzuki outboards.That 4th picture may be a little questionable. I think they may need to buy an add.

Man, I started posting on here because Im from the Long Island and like to keep in touch with whats going on up there as well as filling guys in on NC, not to promote my business...Guys know who I am and Im just giving up the reports...sorry if this offends anyone, I'll just stop posting... I didn't come to this site to start trouble it was highly recommended to by some friends but I guess the Moderator doesn't want me here..

Never once's did I say I was a charter operation or did I try to solicite business, you did that for me..Never posted a Phone # or anything else..If you had a problem with my post you should have deleted it or emailed me directly instead of making the comments that you did..As a moderator your JOB is to keep the forum running in a positive way and you bashing someone who is posting is not the way to run the board and very unprofessional...I appologized for the picture and like I said it was a mistake that it was posted...If anyone is promoting it now it's you since you brought it to everyones attention, think about it!!!
