Default Buxton/Hatteras fishing end of April

I'm gonna be in Buxton/Hatteras the end of April. Think the big blues will be there? What about the drum? Any ideas which ramps are best. #34 or #38?
Thanks!

Like every where else it depends on water temp, but yes there should be bigger bluefish and drum around. As far as which ramp, It sounds like you are going to be more up towards the Avon/ Buxton area, I always had better luck at the first ramp going out of avon heading north. I think it's ramp 34. That all being said, I would guess it all depends on where they have nesting area closures and where you are allowed to drive or fish. Good Luck, I hope you catch a couple of Big Hogs. If you stop in Frank & Frans, tell Frank that Tall Paul said "HI". I wish I could take time off of work to head up there.
By the way Welcome to SOL.

Don't discount Ramp 55 down below the ferry landing. Usually a good long slough that runs along the beach that can be very productive.
