Hello, I am planning a week trip to Corolla, NC. I will be staying at one of the beach houses there. I googled the place and I am 2 blocks from the surf. We will be there mid September.
What type of fish is expected around that time of year and what is the bait of choice? Would I need a Saltwater fishing license and what is the cost for me to take my truck on the ORV? Much thanks for any help. |

Mid Sept is a great time to be down the beginning of the drum, bluefish, Croakers, spot, flounder, sea mullet, spanish macks it all depends on water temp and weather. You just never know. Yes you will need a coastal rec fishing licence $10 for ten days or $30/year. Last time I knew there wasn't a charge for driving on the beach up there.
