Hi Everyone,
Scratched the trip to Assateague when a friend offered to hole us up in Nags head. With the winds forecast to blow like they did, I wasn't really looking forward to weathering the weekend in a tent. Fished the Ocean side of the OI ORV zone for a little while and gave up after dealing with the grass. Shifted further down and closer to the bridge and managed to deck some flatties while fishing for pups with Fishfinder's and mullet. Rather slow the rest of the weekend, a speck or two on sunday, lots of little spot and croaker still around. ![]() ![]() |

Thanks! I must say, I was hoping for more variety. Those things felt like reeling in a dead shoe... No fight at all. I much prefer the fight and zest of drum or even blues! Though they were VERY tasty.
