Default Pompano anyone....

Atlantic Beach...low at 0805...I fished from 0930-1100. Shoulda been there at 0730, but was a little slow getting going...caught these three and one smaller in the first 45 minutes, then nothing. Small number 4 circle hooks with shrimp bits...ie: one small shrimp shelled and cut into three/four pieces. Stick rod and the fish hooks himself right in that rubbery lip...every time...just wait for the rod to bend over or go slack and you got him.

There was also massive bait schools moving down the beach...blues and jacks cutting em up. From the looks of it, maybe some albacore and spanish. Just slicing the water, not getting air. Next time I'll take my casting outfit was some metal to find out for sure....that will be Friday morning, at whatever time low is...prolly round noon without looking.

Where's the spots? Thought I might get lucky and get a few of them as well...another week or two maybe.

Good Fishing!
