Default Corolla Fishing Report

Spending a week down here with the family. Small bluefish every morning and evening on small metal fished FAST. Mixed in are some small to medium Spanish Mackerel. There are a few flounder in the wash as well, but keepers are hard to find. I've seen a number of guys fishing for sea mullet (kingfish), but limited results.

There are a bunch of rays on the bars and a few small sharks. The water is extremely clear and warm.

We did fish the bay for a day and landed a good number of trout and flounder as well as a small striper.

More blues and Spanish today. I had something grab my lure and pull 20ft of drag before he let loose.

Some guys were doing well with sea mullet today on sand fleas. A few small fluke as well. Water remains calm and clear.

Some major Spanish action last night. Deadly Dicks fished very far and fast were the ticket. We probably landed 10 and lost a few in about 2 hours. They seem to show up at low tide and except for an occasional jump, are not very apparent.

All were released except one who took the lure deeply. Pretty tasty.
