trip to obx next summer help please!

we have a few families looking to take the kids to obx for a week .prob around late july. it looks great on the net.. whats for the kids to do ? any fun parks or anything like that around? any help or suggestions .would be great.. we are just trying to make sure we have somthing for the kids to do.. thank you all !!

What ages are the kids? You have miles of ocean and sound beaches to explore. Soundside crabbing and shallow water swimming, oceanside pier fishing. Almost all rental homes have pools. Ghost crabbing at night. There are a few putt putt golfs around. There is a very small "water park" in rodanthe. It has bumper boats, 1 small water slide and race cars. There is an aquarium in manteo if you get a rainy day.
