Default Let's see some...

pictures of what you guys are catching lately. I am starting to get concerned I am going to miss it up here in NH (even though I am having a crap season). I need some fish porn to keep me excited to move. Bonus points for fish caught on artificials.

sometimes they do , sometimes they don't ...it is all dependent on water temps ,

What are the consistent similar season to striped bass. Basically I'm asking time of year for which species?

Harry - the really good winter fishing for striped bass here on the outer banks has been terrible the last 2 years. They still catch them (mostly by boat) up to va beach but not here. I moved here from long island in 2000 and the fishing was outrageous from both boat and surf. Once you catch your first big red drum from the surf you will forget about them stripers.

Big red drum from the surf have 2 main seasons april/may and sept-nov. Smaller red drum (puppy drum) are available pretty much year round.

That's exactly what I needed to hear. Are they primarily caught on bait or is plugging/jigging effective in the surf.

How well do the cobia come in?
