Default Fishing Outer Banks, Help Please

Hi, I will be in Frisco, NC next week. I am not looking to fish 24/7 but would appreciate any information on catching a few fish and what to use. I will be staying on the sound, within walking distance of the ocean. Looking to surf fish, artificials, plugs, fly fishing. Any information on the tides would be helpful as well. Thank you very much for any information you may be able to share with me. Have a wonderful day.

I have been fishing here the past week and it was dead up until today. Was using shrimp with no luck. Switched to artificial blood worms, and artificial shrimp and we started catching tonight. Threw a pink/white gotcha and hit one flounder tonight also. Best of luck!!!

You have to get up early and fish hard because its so hot by lunch ..the bite is over.Try live shrimp and minnows that will definetly work better than artificals.

Hey JB, how is the fishing at Topsail. I will be down there next week for some R&R, I was thinking of hitting Lee Island for the reds one day and trying the sheepshead at the bridge, anything else going on?
