Default kayak fishing the OBX wrecks

Anybody ever try kayak fishing the OBX beach wrecks (ie. The Huron, Kyzickes, the Oriental, etc)? Looks like these wrecks are just several hundred yards off the beach and I'd appreciate any info on this....

Give Jimmy at Hatteras Jack a call.

He can help you out.

Where, approximatley, are these recks? i.e., 500 yds off Rondanthe Beach,...? Will be down July 27th for a week.

Thanks

The fishing around these wrecks are great. With a beach launch it is only a short paddle to the wrecks. This time of year the Huron and the wreck off the second street access are marked with bouys. The boiler of the Orential is very visable from the shore. Let me know when you are down and we can get together (if not me then some of my buddies would be happy to go). Delicious triggerfish love these wrecks. Good luck

Chris

Just sent you a PM. Coming down to Hatteras Village next week. I'm no stranger to the area or yak fishing down there. Would like to hook up one day next week if you're interested.

Thanks
