I will be down for a weeks stay Saturday. What can I expect to catch in the sound this time of year? I will have a kayak and would just like to know what to target. Are the specks around?

Most all the fish in the ocean are in the sound, but don't expect dolphin, tunas or billfish.
 Trout, blues, flounder, drum, are all there.

Don’t know if you have access to PC while there, but both this past Sat & Sun we slammed the large blues in the surf, early and on cut bait. Had them to 39” just south of Avon.
