OK, you fishing guru's if you had $250 max to spend on lures during late June in OBX to catch the most/biggest fish, what lures or baits would you spend your money on? I can see this going on and on but I'm trying to narrow it down to the best bait for that time. Any certain weights and colors? I'm using a 12' ugly stick MH action and 9' ugly stick H action with braided line.

i would get some gotcha lures, a couple/few braid runners, and some shiny shiny stingsilvers......but that's just me.

That's as good as I have...I figure the 12' would be good enough for surf and 9' good enough for pier????

oh, well that will work. yeah. like i said, i would get some shiny stingsilver(s) and if you can find them, a braid runner or two (or more if you want)....made by braid. some *fresh* bunker(menhaden) or any cut bait and just put it on a fishfinder rig. hope this helps...at least a little.

King Rigr......you don't know how much this helps. I really appreciate everyone time that they put in to answer my "newbie" question. But hey, that's how we learn by asking people who know more than me. Afterall, if you don't know the answer...ASK? Right? Thanks again.
