hate to corect you, but two weeks ago i was up at avalon and there were some north of there bout a little less than a mile out. then there were also some by jennetts

for stripers? doubt it, there wern't many there, you'd have more luck throwin jigs in the sound.

yeah i know, but i hate fishin here cause the current is stronger than any other place i've ever been. and plus i live like an hour from the ocean so i have to fish about 10 miles north to the mouth of the bay. the current doesn't make for a very good fishing trip when i use jigs and such. so that's why i was asking.
