Thanks derf
I was going to post it. The maps might not make alot of sense to
those folks that are not familiar with the area involved but what
everyone should realize is if the injunction is approved that all those
areas within the red lines may be off-limits for the next three years.
NOT JUST ORV....

Well that is just b.s.. I mean talking about the point map, i just don't understand why they don't cut down that area around the pond. They know the birds don't like the grass around the pond, so why do they keep it closed. The longer they keep that area closed during winter or whatever time they do, means more time for that grass to keep growing. The more the grass grows, the closer the birds get to the beach, and the closer the birds get to the beach is more beach area that is closed. This just plain sucks.

thats part of the issue for us, many users live along way away and its hard to attend these hearings etc.......all we can do in the end is write letters and voice our opinion. I was utterly disappointed in the number of people who did a work book. Knowing you cant make the hearing etc, that was how you could have voiced your opinion but most dindt bother. sure it was daunting, 75 pages of questions...........it could have been done in the time most people spend driving to and from hatteras once. I know it took me about 8/10 hours to do my workbook.
