As of right now I am starting to plan it. Unless something changes like we get a heat wave I'll be going down. I've been down the past 2 years. 1st year I got one nice striper and missed a huge bluefish blitz by 1 day. Last year was just too warm. Should have canceled but I was too excited. In hind site we should have been fishing for specs last year. I too saw some recent reports and i am drooling again.

Yes, I will be down there from the 26-?. Last year I ended up fishing for specs, but it seems so far the water is much cooler this year. I am hopeful for some stripers but certainly won't leave the light tackle at home just in case.
