Default OBX in December

I am planning on heading down during the first week of December. In August I had some success with blues and drum and rays while surf fishing near Oregon Inlet. Would this be at all productive later in the season or should I move out of the inlet to the mightier surf? Yes, I know this is all dependent on surf temps and wind and weather, but assuming favorable conditions would the fish still be in and around the inlet beaches? Thanks in advance for the info. Yes the striper should be around, however it has been rather hit or miss the last couple of years. Drum could still be hanging around if the temps aren't too cold by that time, and the trout fishing can be really good.

anywhere from the bonner bridge on north thru carolla should be the most productive for stripers. But again, hit and miss. Night time fishing at the bridge from the catwalk usually produces. Carolla and oregon inlet/coquina beach are some of the better guesses to try during that time.

We will be heading down on the 8th through the 19th....

Good luck to ya...
