Topsail Island

I was trying to get some info on surf and pier fishing for at Topsail during the month of July. Waht types of fish will be running then?? Also what types of bait will be the most effective?? Does anyone know any good charters? Thanks

That is Jellybear stomping grounds. The fishing will be ok, just go early and then go back in the evening. Small panfish (double hook and fishbites or shrimp) Sheepshead (fiddler crabs fished by the pilings), maybe some spanish and blues (Gotcha Plugs). East coast sports in surf city or Herrons Sports will be your charter places. Good luck
