Going down soon, wondering if anyone is catching anything down there now? Any tips appreciated.

Also, when you get the license online do you print it out or do you have to wait for it to come in the mail?

I was there this past weekend and it was kinda slow. That front came through and the water was pretty tough. I caught more weeds than anything else. I did manage a croaker and a few blue fish. I was just north of the Oregon Inlet bridge. I heard this fishing was a little better there. Oh well, maybe this weekend it will be better b/c I'll be back!!

You print out a "temp" license and the you'll receive your "official" license in the mail 7-10 days later.

Thanks guys, I'm thinking about bringing one rod to throw metal and a heavier rod to chuck some shrimp or squid out there to try for pompano or bluefish.
