Anyone ever fish on the Capt. Stacy?

I am heading down to Emerald Isle for a week in August. I have been down there several times before, and have logged 2 or 3 trips on the Stacy. I always caught fish, and always had a good time.

This year I wanted to bring my own gear (upgrading from their rigs). I was planning to use some of the cod fishing gear that I use up here in New England, but I gave them a quick call and the woman I spoke with said they do not allow braided lines on their boats?

Is this correct?

She made it sound like if I brought a braid setup, they would not let me use it.
