Great I guss the beach will be covered with the rich and famous. Some one of the rich will buy a house and try to keep trucks from driving through their property most liky on the south end of the island. With fame comes the down side thanks to Dr Beach for screwing this up.

yeah i saw that on the weather channel. I did find his comments about no current and gentle sloping beaches somewhat funny though.

It is my favorite beach/area in all of NC, thus why I made my username after it
 However, it is going to be packed this 4th of July, what with the regular summer crowd AND people who read about it being number 1.  |

I hear its a real zoo there this summer. Someone I know said they can't fit anymore cars on the island. They are backed up all the way to the ferry.
 glad I don't go there in the summer.
