Default Last minute trip to Corolla

Good afternoon everyone, Wife and I just booked a house on Corolla's 4x4 beach for the week of 6/02 - 6/09. First time in the area and was wondering what I should expect to yank out of the surf ,,, if anything! Would be happy to meet someone else while we are there......We will be leaving NY early am 6/03......Thanks

Well just got back from OBX, Northern Corova Beach and caught Nothing! Everyone I spoke with from Hateras/Ocrocoke island said it was dead.

Had a great time otherwise, beautiful area, be back in September!

Thing can change quickly down there. The weather was getting stable and the water appeared to be clearing up nicely when I left this weekend.

Yup water was indeed clearing up nicely, but at that point I had already given in to just lounging!

Fish were jumping like crazy in the little pond/lagoon by the Corolla Light, never got to wet my line there however, we were on the way home

Corova & Cobia only with a boat. Look for deep holes at low tide or the outsucks between the bars. The beach up there is very flat and good holes hard to find.

Good luck
