Default NC Saltwater License

I know you need one this year......from what I understand, you can get a 7-day non-resident license for $10, or a yearly non-resident license for $30....

My question is, back a few years ago when they first proposed this, I had heard that non-residents could only get ONE 7-day license per year....

Is that indeed the case?

I will be down for two weeks soon, and while the extra $10 won't break me, I would much prefer to get a 7-day and then get another 7-day..........

Steve it's 1-10 day license per year for $10.00 or a yearly license for $30.00. you can get it online here http://www.ncwildlife.org/fs_index_01_license.htm

By the way the old guy that supplied Frank with the killer fresh scallops and shrimp retired so you will need to get them from risky business.

when i first moved here in april i got a non-resident 10 day for $10, in hopes id have a permanent address soon...well i cant find a house i like so i went to buy another one, and they were going to give me another 10 dayer until i thought of just getting a year, which i did. they never said anything about being able to only get one 10 dayer a year. to me that seems stupid, because they could generate much more income from people who dont think of it and keep buying 10 dayers
