Mike S - I'm new to these forums and was doing a couple searches, one on the Galapagos and a post you left made me want to email you. You mentioned you wanted to get out to the islands at some point. My wife grew up there and we go back there to see family every year and it is as amazing as it sounds in the islands. I couldn't figure out how to email/private message from that thread so I figured I'd hop on this one and leave a message. Feel free to email me - I'd be happy to give you any info you'd like.

My wife was worrying when she saw a poor weather forecast for the coming week. I just laughed and told her that the forecasters are hard pressed to tell you what it is like out at the current moment. It is blowing pretty hard here this morning with some heavy rain, but it is supposed to be out of here tonight.

Thanks for the offer. Those islands are a place I plan on seeing before my time here is done, but with a newborn I'd be happy just to make it back to the Vineyard sometime soon.

Hey Mike S , Blues Brother Dave here originally from Medford now in Willow Grove. I'll be staying in Buxton Sat 9th to Sat 16th. My son and I will be fishing every morning and every night. I'm driving a silver Explorer. After about a dozen trips over the last 15 years, this will be my first time down there with 4WD. I can't wait to fish the point.
