Default Help - Heading to Nags Head

I am new to this board and figured you guys could help me out. I am used to surfcasting for stripers and blues in cape cod. I am heading down to Nags Head Next Sunday and am wondering what I can fish for and what to use. we have a house right on the water and am bringing my gear. I rather use artificual lures instead of bait. What can I catch, what should I use and will I have the ability to walk out of house and surfcast.

The best advice is to visit a local tackle shop for the latest info. There should be lots of 1-3 lb blues around and probably some specks. You can walk out of your house and start fishing, but you may or may not be in a hot area. It's a good bet that Oregon Inlet will have some fish. Rely on the local advice.
