Default mothers day weekend choices

Anyone want to offer info or advice on any of the following areas for mothers day weekend? Im thinking about going to:

Atlantic Beach
Fort Macon
Emerald Isle
The inlet on the opposite end of Fort Macon (near 58, can one fish there?)

or anywhere else someone mentions in that general area. I havnt had much luck from the beach since ive moved here last month and im hoping this weekend changes that!

OR does anyone have a seat open on a boat i could get on?

Sorry, no boat, but of the places listed Fort Macon isn't a bad place to go, with the understanding that the park opens at 8AM and closes at 5:30PM (last time I remember). Bogue Inlet (opposite end of the island) has been doing well at times. Parking access is on Coast Guard Rd about 2 blocks from the end of where it deadends. The beach access on channel drive is back in use, albeit much shorter....and the drive on ramp is about 5 blocks from the parking lot and then a nice hike along the "new beach". The inlet has been productive and if you work back up the beach toward the pier there are some nice areas that you can find - espeically at low tide .

I'm out of town this weekend, but give me a heads up sometime and maybe we can wet a line......

It is a small lot (16 cars) on the corner of coast guard and I can;t remember, but it is two blocks back from the end of the road where it "Ts" into Ocean Drive. After you make that big curve and the speed limit drops to 25 it is about another block on the right hand side. It opens at 6AM and closes at dark. It shouldn't be too hard to find...............
