Default Rental boats

Does anyone know where to get a rental for a day of back bay fishing with the wife while we are down next week?

Thanks

Um, whereabouts?......down on Hatteras Island, Hatteras Jack in Rodanthe rents skiffs (or at least they used to), and Scotch Bonnent in Frisco does as well.......

Thanks for the reply. I will be staying in Kill Devil Hills but I am willing to travel a bit if need be.

Thanks again.

Just be careful......the sound is quite shallow in lots of areas, and it is quite easy to bottom out (even in a skiff) if you don't pay attention.......don't ask me how I know......

I don't have to ask you, I know. The first time that you come off plane in the shallows, everyone within earshot knows. After about 3 hrs of pushing and swearing, 1/2 of North Carolina knows. At least thats what has happened on a couple of our expeditions.

Scotch Bonnent has changed owners and stop renting boats due to
insurance problems. There is a place on the left side of the causeway to Manteo That rents skiffs and pontoon boats. http://fishingunlimited.net/RentalBoats.html

I know that on the more southern end, the area from Pt Lookout to Atlantic Beach have several boat rentals.
