Default Suggestions?

My wife and I plan on being in NC for Thanksgiving weekend. I've only ever fished at Wrightsville Beach area. Where should I concentrate my surf efforts both spinning and longrod? Not limited to any area in particular - just looking for a good get-away with some good surf action. Probably leave the yaks at home. Not sure if we will bring the pop-up or find a hotel/motel. Any suggestions welcome.

Come on down to Topsail its a 30 minute ride north of Wrightsvilleand a whole lot more beach to cover. The fishing should be great at that time and if you got a 4x4 you can drive on the beach.Speckle trout and Puppy drum and some big VA.Mullet will be around.Give me a shout if you are game.

Might be down next week. Do you need a town permit like EI?

Buxton NC, no question about it. Check in at Red Drum tackle or give them a call and they will fill you in.
