I will be in Harreras the weekend of November 17. Our primary objective is to fish for Blue Fish. We are not particularly familiar with all the ins and outs of it and were looking to hire a guide. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Joe Malat is your guy! I'm not sure if I can post his website here, but his phone # is 252-441-4767.
You can email me at vineyardministries@juno.com and I'll give you his website. I don't think posting it is allowed. - Jimmy |

Darren Hendricks of the Tide Runner in the hatteras harbor marina too. He is an excellent captain. You can call the marina to get set up with him.

Joe Malat is a surf guide not a boat guy. He is the BEST and a good guy. He is busy with a lot of other work but is worth checking with to see if he is available to guide.

If the Blues are runnin' you wont need a guide. Drive out to the point, and look for a crowd going crazy. All you need is a hopkins or gator and you can go to town, LOL.
Those suckers will bite anything that moves when a school is feeding. Just cast into the little bait fish they are chasing.
