what part of core banks ya headin' to ??
doesn't make a difference as far as fishing  bait & wait for bigger stuff stingsilvers for spanish hopkins for blues mirror lures for specks shrimp & sand fleas for croaker derf

went this past weekend , planning a long trip in oct.. we go on the spur of the moment lol. new to the area and surf fishing just trying to get some tips on surf fishing in that area and where to fish on the island. my buddy's got a camper on the island. dont know when we plan to go back , sometime soon i hope.

I will also be there from the 15 th to the 19th. Than heading up to Buxton for 3 more days.
Derf will be in his camper and we will be in Cabin 12. Look for a bright red f150 super cab with top.

we will be in a camper too, a minnie winnie with hummer tires and 2 red headed women with us, the camper has carolina curtains in it

You will have many new spots on the front beaches with the storm going thru this week. They hold specs, sea mullet (Kings), shark ,drum,and snapper blues.
The south point has puppy, big blues and Big sharks. The inside hook will have med size of all the above. You guys will appreciate my Bud Wayne he has been fishing on the Island for 30 + years.
