Default On the Sand 4/21 to 4/28

As stated previously if I don't get below the Mason Dixion Line 2 times a year I become unbearable.
So this Friday I head out with the new truck to Frisco for 7 days and 8 nights of rejuvination.
If anyone else is going to be on the outer banks keep a look out for a bright red pick up with a cap on the back and Pa tags theres Beer avalable upon request and softer drinks if you prefer.
Give me a shout back if you are coming down.
Look forward to seeing any body.

Chuck,

If the weather hits right I'm planning on heading down the middle of next week and staying at leat through the weekend. I'll keep an eye out for you.

I'm driving a black chevy silverado with a cap and NJ tags.

Just got back from a week of fishing staying at Frisco. It is a convenient location with short ride to Buxton, Hatteras and Ocracoke. Lots of puppy drums around and the action for sea mullet, blow toad is heating up. For big drum, cape point is a good spot but way too crowded. I would try Hatteras inlet or Ocracoke south point area. Access to the Frisco beach is through the Frisco airport ramp which is open all the way to cape point (about 15-20 min beach ride). On NE wind, this south beach area is where you want to fish. Defintiively give the jetty area a try, lots of goodies you can catch with small jigs. I did not fish sound side. In the springtime, all fish are moving out to the surf, you can catch spec trout and flounder right in the surf so I didn't find any reason to fish sound side.

In case you like to have seafood at home, Risky Business sells steamed shrimp and crab (excellent) but you have to pre-order. For tuna, waho, mahi, try Jeffries, fresh off the boat.

Good luck and enjoy your trip.

Mike I will keep an eye out for you. I do plan to stay for the most part on the southern beaches to give them a fair chance so if you see the red Fire truck do stop and if I see a Black chevey with NJ tags I will do the same.
Thanks for your input and have a good time.

Nano thanks for the heads up. I will be going over on the ferry for at least a day and 1/2 to try the south point.
Will check out the eateries.
