Default cape fear river

Has anyone had any experience fishing the Cape Fear river for stripers this time of year? I understand the stripers are starting to follow the shad up river.I have only heard rumors about how good the fishing is around the # 2 lock. Am planing to go down for easter weekend and would love to have someones advise that has fished there.

Thanks, ipscmaster
