What is it normaly like in late march early April down there? Daytime temps, water temps, night time temps? Is it busy? Never been in the spring.

hard to say really. Watch the winds, a southerly wind (which is when you want to fish) its warmer. When the winds blow north(the tiem you should stay home) its colder. Its common for it to be in the 60s on asoutherly wind then drop into the 40s on a northly wind.
watch rutgers for water temps and the marine forcast for southerly winds.

like John says depends on the wind direction. the deepest snow we ever had was march 20th (?) in 1980

Well if its that way I am never gonna get the wife to go down that time of year, So I guess I will stick with the fall. When does it get into the upper 60s down there?

late April and May things start to get groovy. Remember we are surrounded by water and in late March and early April it is still in the 40s and 50s so if it blows off the water it can get chilly
