I just bought the big green garden cart from home depot. In the process of customizing it for the beach and pier.

Yea, I ended up making mine out of PVC. Custom frame, and rod holders, came out nice. Used small hand truck wheels. I have to install either a plexi or fiberglass bottom, and a custom tackle storage setup
. I will post some pics when its all finished -Jeff |

My pier cart consists of a hand truck that doubles as a flatbed when the handle is moved. I then took some plywood and 2x12 that locks into place in the hand truck. I installed rod holders on it as well. Might not be too fancy, but it's great for limited storage room. Maybe 50 bucks total invested into it. Arlen

I built mine as a combo beach buggy and pier buggy. Yard cart from garage sale-15.00 used the wheels and axle. Aluminum bed rails from local junk shop. 10.00- cut and screwed them together.Plywood from my garage and pvc pipe from lowes. Total cost. $60.00 plus I enjoyed scrounging and putting it together. Later added more rod holders to the front.I will post a picture as soon as I figure out how!!!!
