I'll be in New Bern for the holidays. Not sure if I should bring a rod & reel or not this time of year. Anyone have any suggestions for that part of the Neuse or Trent rivers?
Not sure without a boat around there, Go a little further east to Atlantic Beach (45 minutes) and take a light spinning rod and some grubs They are doing good on specks in the surf and peirs
Definitly need a boat around New Bern,You might as well forget the specks right now,They are in a deep freeze.You can see them on the bottom and they wont hit NUTHIN!
