Would very much appreciate any info you could give to me -
I plan to retire to NC from Cape Cod within the next couple of years. Fishing is my primary focus. I have an 18' foot boat and a kayak. I plan to come down this winter and do some serious looking around. Right now, the New Bern area looks pretty good in terms of house prices and fishy looking spots. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Bob |

A very good friend of mine just retired down there, moved down about four weeks ago. He built a new home across from Oriental and North or Cherry Point Marine Air Station. Loves the area been looking for almost 10 years, even bought a new 20' CC, he deserved it.
