Im an avid Steelhead fisherman from up north. I will be in Emerald Isle Starting the 19th to the 25th. I would like to get my 8yr old into a shark of any kind. He is really a good little fisherman and is doing well with the fly rod. We don't have to catch them on the fly. Just a shark would make his vacation. Thanks for any help. Gary In Ohio.

Gary, this has nothing to do with your topic, e-mail me at woody2@raex.com, I need some input on flyfishing in Ohio. Thanks, I live in central ohio but will be out on Corebanks in July looking to land some sharks myself.

Will be headed to Emerald Isle August 20-27 and we are also avid Steelhead fishermen. My two twenty-something daughters were really hoping to hook into some big fish while we were there. Any suggestions? This message really caught my attention, as a shark would be a dream come true. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Stop in and See Capt. Joe Shute at Cape Look out Fly shop in atlantic beach. Good guy and knows the scoop. From what i have heard the sharks are thick there right now. I have fished with Joe for black tip s last August---big fun
