I just got a phone call from my daughter.She was on the beach at EI.They caught a puppy drum and were really happy, they are new to surf fishing. So for them it was a major event.They released it for good luck. She was telling me they found a good hole after talking to a very nice gentleman that helped them alot. They met this guy on the pier the day before he was helping with the kids derby. And gave them some bait.She then said this nice guy goes on the same web site as you do SOL. I ask did you get his name she says yes it was Kip.There names are Andy and Jessica and I must say you made quite a impression on them.I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart.I told you about them on the EI report thread but never got back to you.And by some strange act of fate you meet up with them.I owe you one my friend, for your acts of kindness and hope to meet up someday.Thanks Again! ain't it a small world sometime.....

i realy enjoyed meeting them and even posted a hello to you on the main board, but they didn't know your SOL handle, so it just says hello to dad from Jessica and Andy. they are fine young people. I know Andy is slated to re-deploy later on and I know that I can speak for my wife and say we'd love to have them over for dinner one night in the near future.

as i told them about the places i enjoy fishing, i'm sure we'll run into each other again soon. take care and if you find yourself down here be sure and let me know....
